With its solar panel, the standpipe is entirely autonomous. No radio or telecommunications link is required. The metal structure is tough enough to resist both external damage and corrosion (thanks to an Oxsilan coating and epoxy paint).<\/p>\n<p><strong>The solution as marketed includes a cashless (electronic) payment system<\/strong>. To draw water, the user simply presents their <strong>RFID key<\/strong>.
