Drinking water supply systems works made by Vergnet Hydro
Within the framework of the PHAM (Millenium Hydraulic and Sanitation Programme), the European Union, Unicef and the Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW) got together to give a boost to reach the Millenium Goals in Côte d’Ivoire.
The issue is to improve access to sanitation and to drinking water for one million people living in rural areas.
The aim is to increase the rate of global service in rural areas for drinking water by 50 to 75 %.
Vergnet Hydro is proud to be part of this huge project and will carry out a first phase of 42 drinking water supply systems in the following regions: Marahoué, Haut Sassandra, Cavally, Guemon and Tonkpi. The works will start by the end of 2015.
